Exhibition: Oregon Ducks vs. Western Oregon Wolves Recap

The Oregon Ducks battled back from a surprising early 18-7 deficit to rout the outmatched Western Oregon Wolves in exhibition action Sunday evening. Shooting 65% from the field for the game, and an unreal 76% in the second half, the Ducks rolled passed the century mark, putting up 104 for the home crowd and outscoring Western Oregon by 49 points. Dwayne Benjamin led Oregon with a game-high 22 points, burying 10 of his 13 shots. Fellow Duck Elgin Cook notched a double-double with 19 points and 10 boards, while freshman Dillon Brooks scored 17. Oregon opens their regular season this Friday, hosting Coppin State.

Oregon State Beavers vs. Western Oregon Wolves Recap

On Friday November 7th the Western Oregon Wolves went to take on the Oregon State Beavers and shocked the big state school by actually coming to play. Andy Avgi led the Wolves with 21 points on 6 of 13 shooting in 28 minutes of court time. Wiley Jordan had 12 points but was only 4-12 from the floor. Alexander Devon also struggled shooting going only 2-10 from the floor but was able to make his free throws to get to double digit scoring with 10. To the surprise of all the Beaver fans the Wolves held a 32 to 19 halftime lead.
