NBA Preseason: Philadelphia 76ers vs. Washington Wizards Recap

Even if you are initially not expected to produce high numbers early, things evolve sometimes against all odds. That's just the case with Wizards' rookie swingman Kelly Oubre Jr. The 19 years old notched 16 points against the 76ers, being instrumental in his team's win. Center Marcin Gortat also scored for 16. But the win is collective as the Wizards led their opponents to 27 turnovers (over 23 for them). John Wall's 14 assists were also key. The Sixers were completely outscored, only managing to outperform the players from Washington when the Wizards' key players were benched to allow playing time to the whole team.

Washington Wizards Fan Experience

The Wizards arena is much like like in New York you can get to by train and just head to the game. They are located in China Town perfect area for food and to catch up with friends. The building is crowded though parking is extremely limited and if there is some type of big government lockdown going on it can take even longer to get to or access due to the extra security the Verizon Center opened holds 18,277 and opened in 1997 but has been updated a few times since then. For a little perspective it is about 1.3 miles from the White House.
