Usc Trojans Vs. Washington Huskies Recap
October 8, 2015
The Washington Huskies traveled down to Southern California last night to take on their rival USC Trojans in a special Thursday edition of NCAA football. The story of the night was the vaunted Husky defense that stymied almost every Trojan drive.
Ballyhooed quarterback Cody Kessler would only net 156 yards of passing on the night, did not find any of his receivers for scores, plus managed to find the wrong color of jersey twice ending USC drives. While the USC running attack did generate nearly 200 total yards on the night, Tre Madden leading the way with 120 yards, only Ronald Jones II would find pay dirt for the Trojans.
Kessler started the game off with his first INT less than 2-minutes into the game, and it seemed Washington’s confidence would just continue to grow. A restless home crowd would let their displeasure be known for most of the night, as the USC offense just could not sustain any sort of successful drive.
Washington won for the 3rd time in 2015, while sending USC to a very disappointing second loss in the Pacific 12 conference.
