NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament: Rounds 2 & 3 - All Sessions: Notre Dame vs. Northeastern & Butler vs. Texas AND Villanova vs. Lafayette & North Carolina State vs. LSU Recap
March 19, 2015
On March 19th, 2015 NCAA Men's BasketBall Tournament wound up rounds two and three as follows: Notre Dame against Northeastern, Butler playing against Texas, Villanova vs. Lafayette, and North Carolina State vs. LSU. The morning's affairs were an eye-opener with Notre-Dame maintaining its winning-streak, only this time by a very slim margin against North-Eastern. Most likely because the game was not on the home-turf this time; and the team may have been a little tired due to being first on schedule after having arrived yesterday and having a little bit of jet-lag. Notri-Dame's star player however saved the game after a time-out after fast action down the court making a winning basket and breaking a tie dispite careful planning on the part of North-Eastern during a time-out. The remaining three games will be played this afternoon beginning at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time, and Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m. EDT. Finals will then begin on Monday 9:00 a.m. followed by a break for lunch at noon, and the NCAA Tournament will then end at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
