UConn Huskies Men's Hockey vs. Arizona State Sun Devils Recap
October 16, 2015
Not sure we can name it an opposition, as the Huskies never allowed a chance to the Devils to have a single reason for hoping to win that game. Scoring three during the first period was already an indicator of the following stages. Many reasons to be satisfied for the UConn staff: Naas scored two, and russian freshman Letunov assisted both goals. Another freshman, Kalter, also scored. Goalkeeper Rob Nichols was also instrumental, making 24 saves. The Devils only goal was scored during the last period, and the Huskies scored their last one during the very last minute of the game. Quite a symbol illustrating the course of the game.
Missouri Tigers Vs. Uconn Huskies Recap
September 19, 2015
In a game that seems more like a high-scoring baseball game instead of a football game the missouri tigers beat the Connecticut Huskies 9-6. The Huskies are now 3 and 0 and the Tigers are 2 and 1. The quarterback of the Huskies only managed 145 yards and yet that was enough, as the quarterback of the tigers managed 156 yards in loss. The scoring for the entire game was actually not 2 fields goals for one team and 3 for the other as the score might suggest. Instead a safety and a touchdown accounted for the score of the Missouri Tigers and a touchdown and a missed extra point accounted for the score of the Huskies.
