NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament: Rounds 2 & 3 - All Sessions: Georgetown vs. Eastern Washington & Utah vs. Stephen F. Austin AND Arizona vs. Texas Southern & VCU vs. Ohio State Recap
March 19, 2015
Georgetown took on the Eagles of Eastern Washington. The Eagles were one of the best offensive teams in all of the NCAA averaging over 80 points a game. Many experts were thinking this would be one of the games that would have upset written all over it, especially with the fact that the Hoyas have been struggling in recent tourneys. Eastern Washington came out strong and built a decent lead on the Hoyas early. However the Hoyas would battle back and started to take over late in the first half. They would take a 10 point lead into half, and never look back. Eastern Washington struggled to score early in the second half and was down by 20 quickly. They could not bounce back and recover from the deficit and would lose by 10.
