Oklahoma Sooners vs. Texas Longhorns Recap

Doubters of the Longhorns were silenced on Saturday when they took a game off of the Sooners. Johnson and Swoopes scored a touchdown each, giving the Longhorns a strong 14 point lead at the end of the 1st quarter. There was lots of back and forth in the 2nd, but a 21 yard kick by Seibert put the Sooners on the board. Rose hit a successful kick of his own in the 3rd, taking the score to 3-17, but minutes after, Flowers scored a touchdown for the Sooners, narrowing the gap. It wasn't enough though, as both teams scored a touchdown in the 4th, with Bluiett for Texas and Perine for Oklahoma.
TCU Horned Frogs vs. Texas Longhorns Recap

TCU hosted the Texas Longhorns. The Longhorns have long dominated the state of Texas. But lately they have struggled and TCU is now the dominator. This game would be no different as TCU would simply destroy the Longhorns. TCU would be up 50-0 before Texas would get on the board. Trevone Boykin looked great again as he threw for 332 yards and 5 touchdowns. Kavontae Turpin could not be contained by Texas as he had 6 catches for 138 yards and 4 touchdows. His other half Josh Doctson had 7 catches for a 129 yards and 2 touchdowns. TCU continues to roll, and look like a major force in College Football
Texas Longhorns vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys Recap

The Texas Longhorns looked to bounce back after a disappointing lost last week as they missed an extra point to tie the game late, and possibly get a win. Oklahoma State has looked good thus far and was looking to go into Texas and protect their perfect record. The game was very back and forth between the two, and Texas would take a 20-17 lead into halftime. Late into the 2nd half the Cowboys were up 24-20 and looking to go ahead more but an Interception by Holton Hill would give the Longhorns a 27-24 lead and that lead would hold till late in the game. Ben Grogan would tie up the game at 27 with a little more than a minute in the game. Texas would go 3 and out and thats when everything went wrong for Texas. The Punter would bobble the snap and kick a negative 6 yard punt. OK State would already be in field goal range and Ben Grogan would kicked a field goal a minute earlier would kick another and be the game winner.
