Texas A&M-Corpus Christi upset the 18th-ranked Texas Longhorns in a midweek matchup in Austin Tuesday night. The Islanders nearly blew a 3-0 lead, but scored three times in the tenth inning to come away with the win. With the bases loaded, Justin Perales' RBI groundout scored the go-ahead run and Cody Clarke followed with a two-run single. The Longhorns' comeback bid fell short in the bottom of the inning. Texas used eight different pitchers in losing their fourth straight to fall to 17-12. Jordan Lee hit his first home run of the season for the Islanders. Joe Baker was the only Longhorns player with two hits.
