Iowa State Cyclones vs. TCU Horned Frogs Recap

Third-ranked TCU remained squarely in the playoff picture with a blowout win over Iowa State. After Iowa State took a 21-14 lead in the first quarter, the Horned Frogs scored 31 straight points to put the game well out of reach. TCU's Trevone Boykin was virtually perfect, finishing 27-of-32 for 456 yards and four touchdowns. Boykin, who has five straight 300-yard passing games, also rushed for 74 yards and a touchdown. For the Cyclones, Sam Richardson was 22-of-36 for 251 yards but failed to find the end zone. The Cyclones went just 3-for-12 on third down but converted 4-of-6 fourth downs. TCU improved to 7-0 while Iowa State fell to 2-4.

Kansas State Wildcats vs. TCU Horned Frogs Recap

The Kansas State Wildcats hosted the TCU Horned Frogs and the fans were treated with a high scoring affair that was highly entertaining throughout. Trevone Boykin had a big day throwing for 301 yards and completing 20 of his 30 passes. He threw for 2 scores but also for 2 INT's. He also ran for two more scores and 124 yards on 11 carries. His main receiving target was Josh Doctson who caught 8 balls for 155 yards and both scores. For the WIldcats Joe Hubener ran 26 times for 111 yards and 4 scores. Charles Jones added 2 more scores and 75 yards on his 13 carries.

TCU Horned Frogs vs. Texas Longhorns Recap

TCU hosted the Texas Longhorns. The Longhorns have long dominated the state of Texas. But lately they have struggled and TCU is now the dominator. This game would be no different as TCU would simply destroy the Longhorns. TCU would be up 50-0 before Texas would get on the board. Trevone Boykin looked great again as he threw for 332 yards and 5 touchdowns. Kavontae Turpin could not be contained by Texas as he had 6 catches for 138 yards and 4 touchdows.
