Wisconsin Badgers vs. Purdue Boilermakers Recap

Wisconsin's Joel Stave threw for 322 yards and the Badgers defense held Purdue to just one score as Wisconsin got a win at Camp Randall Stadium. Purdue struggled to move the ball in the air or on the ground, and the Boilermakers gained just 191 yards of offense for the afternoon. Purdue is just 1-6 for the season. For Wisconsin, Stave completed 30-of-39 passes in his second straight 300-yard performance. The Badgers' Alec Ingold had two short touchdown runs and Dare Ogunbowale ran for another score. Senior receiver Alex Erickson caught nine passes for 86 yards, helping Wisconsin to improve to 5-2 for the season.

Michigan State Spartans vs. Purdue Boilermakers Recap

The Michigan State Spartand hosted the Purdue Boilermakers. On paper this game looked like it should be a route for the Spartans. However MSU has struggled to dominate as many has expected. MSU came out and flexed it's muscles as LJ Scott scored on runs of 18 yards, and 1 yard run. Connor Cook threw a touchdown pass to R.J. Shelton to give MSU a 21-0 lead heading into halftime. The game looked like a runaway but Purdue would make it a battle and cut the lead to 3 late into the fourth quarter. Purdue had the ball with 2 minutes left and a chance to go for the win but would turn the ball over on downs, and hold on to win the game, and survive another scare.

Purdue Boilermakers vs. Virginia Tech Hokies Recap

The Virginia Tech Hokies headed to West Lafayette on Saturday to take on the Purdue Boilermakers. Brenden Motley look to impress against the Boilermakers and while he did have 2 touchdowns threw the air, and 1 on the ground. He did fumble three times. Purdue struggled on offensive most of the game, but did keep up the Hokies, until halftime. Austin Appleby struggled for the Boilermakers only completing 9 out of 28 and threw 2 picks. The Hokies would dominate after halftime and run away with the game literally as the team would rush for 238 yards and run to an easy victory over Purdue.
