Ohio State Buckeyes Vs. Penn State Nittany Lions Recap

The Nittany Lions traveled to Columbus to take on the Ohio State Buckeyes. Last year the game went into double overtime, which Ohio State would prevail. The Nittany Lions would strike first and score on the opening drive and kicked a field goal to take a 3-1 lead. But Ohio State would strike back behind J.T Barrett and Ezekiel Elliot as they would run to 3 straight touchdowns, and take a 21-3 lead into halftime. QB Christian Hackenberg would come out and throw a touchdown pass to DaeSean Hamilton to cut the lead to 21-10. However the star for Penn State would be Saquon Barkley as he would rush for 194 yards but that would not be enough. J.T Barrett would throw for 30 yards and 2 touchdowns, but run for 102 yards, and 2 tds. Elliott would run for 153 yards and cap the win easily for the Buckeyes.

Game between Penn State Nittany Lions vs. Notre Dame Fighting Irish started intense and in the end of the first minute there was the first goal and the lucky shooter was Ben Ostlie from Notre Dame Fighting Irish,second goal came seven minutes later and the shooter was David Thompson from Penn State Nittany Lions.Second period started rough and with a lot of action and good defense from both side and a lot of goals three from Penn State Nittany Lions and two from Notre Dame Fighting Irish and in the last period Penn State gave one more goal and showed domination on the ice court and won the game 5:3. Notre Dame Fighting Irish better luck next time.

Last night the Penn State Nittany Lions mens hockey team hosted their home opener against Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The Lions came out fast and attacking in the beginning. The Irish found few shots in the early going, however 3 of them went in the goal in just the first period which found the Lions leading 3-1 at the end. The second period of play found the Lions catching a little momentum and climbing back into the game. The home team unfortunately was not able to hold that momentum through the third and final period. The Fighting Irish relished over their victory in front of the Penn State Roar Zone.
