West Virginia Mountaineers vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys Recap

The Oklahoma State Cowboys have started off undefeated but still are not getting much respect from the polls as they were only ranked 21st when they headed to Morgantown to take on West Virginia. Their QB Mason Rudolph did not have a very good day going 20/40 for 218 yards but he threw three interceptions. They brought in backup JW Walsh who was able to throw for a touchdown and completed 2 of his 3 passes for 10 yards. The Mountaineers got 147 yards on the ground on 19 carries from Wendell Smallwood and as a team ran for 256 yards on 61 carries.
Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Kansas State Wildcats Recap

If you like offense this is your type of game. The Wildcats and the Cowboys looked good as they would both put up big numbers on offense as Mason Rudolph would throw for 437 yards and 3 touchdowns for the Cowoboys while the Wildcats did it both threw the air, and running the ball. The game would be back and forth as Kansas State would take a 28-20 lead into halftime but with 6 minutes left in the game, OSU would take a 33-28 lead. The Wildcats would respond with a 5 yard td run by Joe Hubener but fail the two point conversion. Finally Ben Grogan would be the hero again and nail a 37 yard field goal to give the OSU Cowboys another late win.

Texas Longhorns vs. Oklahoma State Cowboys Recap

The Texas Longhorns looked to bounce back after a disappointing lost last week as they missed an extra point to tie the game late, and possibly get a win. Oklahoma State has looked good thus far and was looking to go into Texas and protect their perfect record. The game was very back and forth between the two, and Texas would take a 20-17 lead into halftime. Late into the 2nd half the Cowboys were up 24-20 and looking to go ahead more but an Interception by Holton Hill would give the Longhorns a 27-24 lead and that lead would hold till late in the game. Ben Grogan would tie up the game at 27 with a little more than a minute in the game. Texas would go 3 and out and thats when everything went wrong for Texas. The Punter would bobble the snap and kick a negative 6 yard punt. OK State would already be in field goal range and Ben Grogan would kicked a field goal a minute earlier would kick another and be the game winner.
