17th-ranked Iowa remained undefeated with a rout of 20th-ranked Northwestern at Ryan Field. After leading 16-10 at halftime, the Hawkeyes scored 24 straight points after the break to put this one out of reach. The Wildcats had no way to stop Iowa running back Akrum Wadley, who gained 204 yards and scored four touchdowns in his first career start. Derrick Mitchell Jr. added 79 rushing yards and another touchdown for the Hawkeyes, who improved to 7-0. The Wildcats, who fell to 5-2 with their second straight loss, gained just 198 yards of offense all day. Clayton Thorson's four-yard pass to Christian Jones provided Northwestern's only touchdown.
Michigan Wolverines vs. Northwestern Wildcats Recap

The undefeated 13th ranked Northwestern Wildcats traveled to Ann Arbor to take on the 4-1 18th ranked Michigan Wolverines in one of the premier matchups from this past weekends college football slate. Jake Rudock was extremely efficient for the Wolverines going 17 for 23 for 179 yards. Michigan had a great team effort on the ground rushing for 201 yards on 46 carries. De'Veon Smith was the high man with 59 yards on 8 carries while Derrick Green had 47 yards on 12 carries and 1 touchdown. The Wildcats were completely bottled up on the ground rushing for 38 yards as a team.

Northwestern Wildcats vs. Minnesota Golden Gophers Recap

The Undefeated Northwestern Wildcats hosted the Minnesota Gophers. The Wildcats have been the surprise of the Big Ten and look to continue to dominate against Minnesota. The defense of Northwestern has been averaging giving up 8 points a game, and on Saturday they would not disappoint. The defense would pitch a shutout against Minnesota and had no real trouble with them. Justin Jackson of Northwestern would provide all the offense for Northwestern rushing for 120 yards, but Clayton Thorson would be the man scoring 2 touchdowns. Northwestern controlled the whole game, and take on Michigan for a big game next Saturday.
