The Iowa Hawkeyes hosted North Texas on Saturday. This game would show a side you hardly ever see of Iowa, as they would go on to romp the Mean Green of North Texas. C.J Beathard was 18 of 21 with 2 Touchdowns and threw for 278 Yards. Jordan Canzeri ran all over the Mean Green as he would rush for 115 yards and score 4 touchdwons. The Hawkeyes would take a 35-13 lead into halftime, and still poured it on into the 2nd half. The Hawkeyes who are not none to put up a lot points, even against inferior teams managed to put up 62 points. The Hawkeyes are now 4-0 heading into Big Ten play next week, while the Mean are on the complete opposite side with an 0-3 record.

Texas Tech Red Raiders vs. North Texas Mean Green Recap

In this NCAAM game played between the North Texas Mean Green and Texas Tech Red Raiders at the United Supermarkets Arena in Lubbock Texas, Texas Tech took the lead in the first half and managed to end the first half with a four point lead. In the second and final half, Texas Tech started to dominate the proceedings from the very beginning and ended the half with a commanding 11 point lead. For North Texas Mean Green, Jordan Williams top scored with 20 points. For Texas Tech red raiders D Williams top scored with 14 points while Isiah Manderson who came off the bench was the second top scorer with 10 points.

Played at the Iba Arena in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the Oklahoma state cowboys stared to dominate the proceedings from the very first minute of the first half. By the end of the first half, Oklahoma state had established a 8 point lead over North Texas Mean Green. The second and final half was no different as Oklahoma state didn't give away even an inch to North Texas mean green. Oklahoma state comfortably won the second half by a margin of 14 points.
