If there's one thing every Devils' fan knows, it's this: The Streak continues. Last night at Prudential Center, Patrick Elias continued his 15-game scoring streak with another multi-goal performance, this time against a hapless Carolina Hurricanes team.

Elias and Company wasted no time getting to work. At 16:30 of the first period, Elias took a cup-and-saucer feed from linemate Adam Henrique, carried quickly up the far boards and sent a perfect wrister over the shoulder of rookie 'Canes goalie Askold Klyus. The Devils sustained the loss of defensive mainstay Bryce Salvador halfway through the second period, but kept up the scoring pressure, as Stephen Gionta notched a goal for the Devs at 5:31 of that frame.

Elias struck again late in the third, hustling hard on a breakaway and burying a slap shot through Klyus' legs.
