Kansas City Chiefs vs. New York Jets Recap
November 2, 2014
Michael Vick took over for Geno Smith as starting quarterback for the struggling New York Jets, as coach Rex Ryan hoped it would spark the team. Results were certainly mixed as Vick had his highs and lows throughout the contest. On the other side, Alex Smith remained steady as he led the Chiefs in this battle of AFC teams. He had an early touchdown on a crazy batted ball to Anthony Fasano, while Jamaal Charles turned in a strong game on the ground, including an early touchdown in the first quarter. Charles would continue to dominate on the ground and in the short passing game, just as he has all season when healthy.
