New Orleans Saints vs. Cincinnati Bengals Recap

On Sunday November 16th two teams that are very hard to figure out this year met in New Orleans when the Saints hosted the Cincinnati Bengals. Jermaine Gresham caught a 12 yard pass from Andy Dalton for the games first score. Dalton was coming off an awful outing last week against the Browns but played much better in this game. In the third quarter Dalton found Gresham again for a short touchdown and also hooked up with AJ Green on a 24 yarder. The Saints got a 4th quarter TD from Kenny Stills when he caught a 9 yard pass from Drew Brees.

New Orleans Saints vs. San Francisco 49ers Recap

The New Orleans Saints took on the San Francisco 49ers in a battle between NFC upstarts on Sunday. Both teams came in with .500 records and were looking to ascend in the NFC standings. Drew Brees and Colin Kaepernick battled through the air, and Mark Ingram was the clear standout on the ground, maintaining his torrid pace this season with another 100 yard performance. It was an awesome display of offensive fire power. This game came right down to the wire, and an offensive pass interference call on Jimmy Graham with no time remaining sent the game into overtime. This was after Kaepernick found Michael Crabtree for a long completion on 4th down with under two minutes remaining. Both teams possessed the ball in overtime and it came down to a last second kick.

Carolina Panthers vs. New Orleans Saints Recap

In a clash of titans we see a determined Drew Brees take on the tough Carolina Panthers backed by a resilient Cam Newtorn. This is a Thursday Night Football game so expectations are always high, and boy, did they not disappoint. The game was close throughout the first half as both teams struggled offensively. During half time the Saint's coach was able to adjust and make the right play calls for Drew Brees to take home a on the road victory as he scored a few touchdown passes and the Saint's defense were able to sack Cam Newton four times. The Saints have a 4-4 record and will continue to make their campaign for the playoffs.
