NHL Western Conference Finals: Anaheim Ducks vs. Chicago Blackhawks - Home Game 4 Recap

The Chicago Blackhawks headed back to Anaheim for a game 7 match up. This was the deciding game of who goes to the Stanley Cup Finals. The Chicago Blackhawks would come out early and strike first. Shortly there after, they would score again, and take a 2-0 lead into the second period. Early on into the 2nd period the Blackhawks scored again to take a 3-0 lead and look to close out the series. The Anaheim Ducks finally got on the board and scored a couple of guys to make it closer. However the Blackhawks put up a couple more goals, and sealed the deal. The Blackhawks would go on to win this game and head to the Stanley Cup Finals to face the Tampa Bay Lightning.

NHL Eastern Conference Finals: New York Rangers vs. Tampa Bay Lightning - Home Game 4 Recap

The Tampa Bay Lightning earned a spot in the Stanley Cup finals by beating the Rangers in a pressure-packed Game 7 at Madison Square Garden. Lightning goalie Ben Bishop earned his second shutout in the past three games, stopping 22 Rangers shots to lead the Lightning to victory. The Rangers' Henrik Lundqvist also had a shutout through two periods, but Alex Killorn beat him early in the third period for a 1-0 Lightning lead. Ondrej Palat added an insurance goal with 8:43 to play. The Lightning had no power play chances of their own but did a great job of killing two penalties in the second period. The Rangers only managed 11 shots in the first two period. Tampa Bay will face the winner of Saturday's Ducks-Blackhawks Game 7.

NHL Western Conference Finals: Chicago Blackhawks vs. Anaheim Ducks - Home Game 3 Recap

The Chicago Blackhawks looked to extend the series, and force a game 7 against the Anaheim Ducks. The Rangers had done it the night before and this would be the Blackhawks chance to do it. The game was scoreless in the first period, as it was mostly Chicago pushing the offense but came unsuccessful. The 2nd period would be more intense as the Blackhawks came out and scored on goals By Kane, Hossa, and Saad to give them a 3-0 lead. The Ducks would never be able to rally to come back and try and win the game. Game 7 will be heading back to Anaheim on Saturday night for another game 7 classic in the NHL.
