Michigan State beat Louisville in overtime Sunday to advance to the Final Four. The Spartans got 17 points from Travis Trice, 15 from Denzel Valentine, and 14 from Bryn Forbes. Louisville had a chance to win it in regulation when Mangok Mathiang stepped to the line to shoot two free throws with four seconds to play. But he only hit one of two. Forbes scored five points in the extra period to help clinch the win. For Louisville, Wayne Blackshear led the way with 28 points, including a perfect 12-of-12 from the free throw line. Montrezl Harrell added 16 points and nine rebounds. Louisville ends their season at 27-9, while the 27-11 Spartans advance to the Final Four. Spartans coach Tom Izzo has made seven Final Fours.

Louisville took on North Carolina State in a rematch from earlier in the season. Both teams came out shooting and the Wolfpack was making 3 pointers pretty easily, early on. However Montrezl Harrell would dominate inside and cause all types of trouble for the Wolfpack. Terry Rozier would assist Harrell and grab 14 rebounds, and score 17. However NC State would take a 2 point lead into halftime, and continue to dominate grabbing a 6 point lead early in the 2nd half. The Score was 39-33 with 17 minutes left, and that is when the Cardinals started to come back and take over. The Cards would take the lead, but NC State tried to hang in there. With 7 minutes left NC State took a 1 point lead. However from there the Cardinals would dominate and go on to win the game easily.

Tom Izzo lead the Michigan State Spartans against the favored Oklahoma Sooners. The Spartans had been beating teams with pure defense and clutch on offense. This game would not disappoint and the Spartans would once again do what it had to go on to win the game. The Spartans came out super cold and the Sooners were hot. The Sooners were up by double digits most of the first half. However late into the first half the Spartans started to chip away and were only down by 4. The Second half was back and forth, but Travis Trice, and Denzel Valentine would lead the Spartans with clutch shots, and Free throws to win by 4.
