Memphis Tigers vs. Mississippi Rebels Recap

Behind a strong game from quarterback Paxton Lynch, Memphis upset 13th-ranked Mississippi at the Liberty Bowl to remain undefeated. Lynch finished 39-of-53 for 384 yards, three touchdowns and an interception as the Tigers improved to 6-0 with their biggest win of the season. The Tigers' Anthony Miller caught 10 passes for 132 yards and one touchdown, while Jarvis Cooper rushed for 76 yards. Mississippi moved the ball well in the air, as Chad Kelly finished 33-of-47 for 372 yards and two touchdowns. The Rebels' Laquon Treadwell caught 14 passes for 144 yards and one touchdown, but Mississippi fell to 5-2. Memphis joins Houston and Temple as 6-0 teams in the American Athletic Conference.

On October 10, 2015 , there was an epic battle between the football teams Mississippi Rebels vs. New Mexico State Aggies in which the Aggies seem to come out on top . It was already a problematic day due to the environmental factors--the players and their fans were forced to relocate indoors for the game as the stadium stood empty outdoors. The Buck's most valuable player did a pass that turned out to be climactic moment for the team. He and his teammates worked very hard that day for the epic outcome. What does the future hold for theses two teams? One can only keep watching to find out.

Florida Gators vs. Mississippi Rebels Recap

Florida quarterback Will Grier was nearly perfect, completing 24-of-29 passes for 271 yards and four touchdowns to lead the 25th-ranked Gators to a major upset of third-ranked Mississippi. The Gators had a losing record in 2014 and weren't expected to contend this year, but they have started out 5-0 under first-year coach Jim McElwain including three straight conference wins. Grier was questionable to start the game, but recovered from a stomach virus and threw all his touchdown passes in the first half. Kelvin Taylor ran for 83 yards on 27 carries to help Florida put the game away. Rebels quarterback Chad Kelly threw for 259 yards and ran for 40, but his team lost for the first time this season to fall to 4-1.
