The Ducks earned their first win of the season Sunday, beating the Wild at the Honda Center behind a strong performance by goalie Anton Khudobin. Khudobin, who was pulled from his previous game after allowing four goals in 13 minutes, stopped 34 of 35 shots against Minnesota. The Ducks' Cam Fowler and Hampus Lindholm finished with a goal and an assist each, while Rickard Rakell and Mike Santorelli also scored goals. All four players scored for the first time this season. Nino Niederreiter provided the Wild's only highlight with a second period goal. Minnesota lost in regulation for the first time of the season.

The Kings were looking for their first win of the 2015 season â€“ they found it on Friday night against the Wild, as LA took Minnesota to overtime and came away with the victory from a 3-on-3 goal. By the stats alone, the Kings should have had a win wrapped up in regulation, as they outshot the Wild 32-14 and kept pressure up in the offensive zone. All that hustle didnâ€™t turn into points, however, and Minnesotaâ€™s Mikko Koivu was able to score a power-play goal at 5:37 in the third period to ensure that extra time was needed to decide the contest.

Arizona Coyotes Vs. Minnesota Wild Recap

On October 15th, 2015 the Minnesota Wild faced off against the Arizona Coyotes in Phoenix as both teams looked to continue their undefeated streaks to start the 2015-2016 season. It was a high scoring affair, as the Wild dominated the first half of the game with four goals in the first 33 minutes. After the third goal, Coyotes' goaltender Mike Smith was pulled and Anders Lindback came in to finish the game. All the big guns did their duty for the Wild as Zach Parise, Thomas Vanek, Mikko Koivu, and Mikael Granlund notched goals. However the Coyotes did not give up easily as NHL rookies, Anthony Duclair and Max Domi both scored dazzling goals in their own respect and made the game much closer than expected.
