Miami Hurricanes vs. Virginia Tech Hokies Recap

Miami's Brad Kaaya threw for 296 yards and two touchdowns, leadind the Hurricanes to a win over Virginia Tech at Sun Life Stadium. Kaaya completed 19-of-30 passes and played a turnover-free game, helping Miami to improve to 4-2. On the other hand, the Hokies turned the ball over four times. Starting quarterback Brenden Motley was pulled from the game after committing three turnovers. Virginia Tech's Travon McMillian rushed for 99 yards on 16 carries. Miami is still in contention in the ACC's coastal division, but faces a tough test in the Hurricanes' next game against fifth-ranked Clemson. The Hokies are an uncharacteristically poor 3-4 for the season.
Florida State Seminoles vs. Miami Hurricanes Recap

The Miami Hurricanes and Florida State Seminoles continued one of college footballs best rivalries on Saturday and played another great game. Miami QB Brad Kaaya completed 29 of his 49 passes on the day to throw for 405 yards. Three of his passes went for touchdowns while he threw no interceptions. It is a good thing that he had a big day on the ground because the Seminoles completely shut down Miamis ground game holding Joseph Yearby to 33 yards on 15 carries. On the other side it was the ground game where the Seminoles did most of their damage as Dalvin Cook ran for 222 yards on 22 carries for 2 scores.

Cincinnati Bearcats Vs. Miami Hurricanes Recap

Cincinnati quarterback Hayden Moore had a strong performance in his first career start, leading the Bearcats to 27 first half points in a win over Miami. Moore made a strong case to start even when starter Gunner Kiel returns from his injury, completing 22-of-33 passes for 279 yards and two touchdowns. The Bearcats also had a strong running game as Tion Green rushed for 90 yards and Hosey Williams ran for 80 yards and a touchdown. Miami's offense moved the ball in the air and on the ground, but the Hurricanes settled for five field goal attempts and didn't score a touchdown after halftime. Joseph Yearby rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown for the Hurricanes, who fell to 3-1.
