NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament: First Four - All Sessions: Hampton vs. Manhattan & BYU vs. Mississippi AND North Florida vs. Robert Morris & Boise State vs. Dayton Recap

In the first game of the first four game , Manhattan college took on Hampton University. In the first half of the game Hampton managed to gain a sizable lead over Manhattan. By the end of the second half, Hampton had managed to gain an insurmountable 10 point lead over Manhattan. In the second game BYU took on OLE Mississippi. It was a contest that saw fortunes swing between both the teams. By the end of the second and final half Ole Miss had taken an overall lead of four points lead over BYU. In the first half BYU started strongly and managed to take a considerable lead during the initial portions of the first half. By the end of the first half, BYU had taken a big 17 point lead over Ole Mississippi rebels.

Florida State Seminoles vs. Manhattan Jaspers Recap

On Saturday November 15th the Manhattan Jaspers traveled to Tallahassee to take on the Florida State Seminoles in both teams first game of the college basketball season. Shane Richards led the Jaspers with 17 points but his shot was off as he was only 4-16 from the floor and 3-12 from beyond the three point line. Ashton Pankey had 14 points but 10 of those came from the free throw line. It was a very balanced effort from the Seminoles as they had 6 players in double figures including all 5 starters. Aaron Thomas was the hig man with 14 points.
