Auburn Tigers vs. Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Recap

The Auburn Tigers hosted Louisiana Tech on Saturday in a game that was not very competitive throughout. Cameron Artis-Payne scored on a 5 yard run in the first quarter, and in the second Auburn added two touchdowns when D'haquille Williams scored on an 18 yard pass from Nick Marshal and Quan Bray also scored on a 37 yardd pass from Marshall. Auburn was able to out gain the Bulldogs 473 yards to 321 yards and had zero turnovers while Louisiana Tech turned it over twice. Kenneth Dixon was able to run for 2 scores for Louisiana Tech. QB Nick Marshall had a very efficient game for Auburn completing 10 of 17 passes for 166 yards and 3 touchdowns, and Jeremy Johnson even came in to go 4 for 5 and throw for a touchdown of his own.
Oklahoma Sooners vs. Louisiana Tech Bulldogs Recap

The fourth ranked Oklahoma Sooners easily advanced over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs. It looked like the score would be 31-0 going into the locker room for the half, but then with seconds left on the clock a field came for the Bulldogs putting the score at 31-3. The field goal came from the toes of Jonathan Barnes who went for 36 yards. The Sooners field goal kicker Micheal Hunnicut managed a 39 yarder at 12:24 in the second quarter. Sooners QB Trevor Knight passed for 253 yards. He also had a touchdown. Sooners had 436 yards to LA Techs 245.
