Alabama Crimson Tide Vs. Louisiana-monroe Warhawks Recap
September 26, 2015
The first scoring play of the Alabama - Louisiana-Monroe game was a 3 yard run by Alabama running back Derrick Henry. This was the only scoring play of the first quarter giving the Crimson Tide an early 7 point lead over the Warhawks. In the second quarter Jake Coker looked great in this match up which will hopefully assuage the worries about the quarterback voiced by some of the Alabama faithful over the past week. He scored a 15-yard pass early in the second quarter to put the Tide up 14 -0 which would be the score until the 3rd quarter. Coker ended with 3 touchdown passes in the game, all between 15-19 yards. Combined with two field goals, the Tide (as expected) routed the Warhawks, completely shutting the out. This was the 13th shutout put up by Alabama's defense over the past 5 seasons.
Georgia Bulldogs vs. Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks Recap
September 5, 2015
One of my favorite games I have ever seen in the National Football League was the game when the Minnesota Vikings took on the Green Bay Packers in the final game of the 2013 regular season. This game was important for the Minnesota Vikings because they win then that means they will make it to the playoffs. If the Green Bay Packers win the Minnesota Vikings will have been eliminated from the playoffs. One of my favorite moments from the game is when Vikings star running back Adrian Peterson was less than 10 yards away from breaking the most yards in a year record. He had the choice of winning the game and wasting clock or risking a loss by breaking the record. He chose to win the game over breaking his record showing he cares about winning and his team rather than caring about himself.
