NCAA Baton Rouge Baseball Super Regional: LSU Tigers vs. Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns - Game 3 (If Necessary) Recap
June 8, 2015
Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin' Cajuns had the LSU Tigers in a stalemate through 6 innings. Kade Scivicque came to the plate in the seventh inning and broke up the tie with a solo shot, putting them up 1-0 after 7. The 53-10 LSU Tigers showed the world why they are top ranked, adding another 4 runs in the 8th inning in what seemed an insurmountable comeback for the Cajuns. The stars of the game by far were Jared Poche, pitcher for LSU and Gunner Leger, who pitched phenomenally through the start of this game. Another interesting play was when the Cajuns turned a 4-6-3 double play in the 3rd inning. Mark Laird seemed to be the only big bat in the game, going 2 for 5 for the Tigers.
