Virginia Tech Hokies Vs. Furman Paladins Recap

Virginia Tech took on Furman Saturday. Virginia Tech looked to build off the impressive first half they had against the OSU Buckeyes. They did just that as they dominated a much inferior team in the Furman Paladins. The Hokies looked great through the Air and the ground as they rushed for 299 yards and 3 touchdowns. Brenden Moley threw for 233 yards and 2 touchdowns for the Hokies as well. The Paladins struggled all day offensively and could only manage a FG. The game was never really close and Va Tech would go on to win the game easily by 39 points.

South Carolina Gamecocks vs. Furman Paladins Recap

It was a great day for baseball at Carolina Stadium and the home team gave their fans their money’s worth. Elliot Caldwell led the effort with an outstanding performance in the Gamecocks defeat of the visiting Furman Paladins giving the Gamecocks their first midweek win of the year.
Furman took a 2-0 lead in the first inning after Jordan Simpson and Sky Overton batted in runs. South Carolina seemed out of sync showing less than stellar pitching and defense in the early going.

The Gamecocks settled down on defense and pitching and but still had difficulty scoring until the fourth inning when Elliot Caldwell ignited a rally scoring 3 of 4 runs including a bases loaded triple scoring Logan Koch and Jordan Gore each of which had previously singled and Gene Cone who reached first base after being hit by a pitch.

Caldwell’s performance was capped by going 4 for 4 with a great defensive effort and a stolen base leading the Gamecocks to their 3rd win of the season against 1 loss. The Furman Paladins dropped to 0-2.

TCU Horned Frogs vs. Furman Paladins Recap

The TCU Horned frogs took on their rival team the Furman Paladins on December 09, 2014 at the Wilkerson-Greines Athletic Centre based in Fort Worth , TX. TCU Led the first round with 33 points compared to their rival team the Furman Paladins who managed to score only 29 points, in the second half we saw some more action with the Paladins fighting back to score 40 points but still could not match the 47 points scored by their rivals TCU, TCU took the match with style scoring 80 points in comparison to their opponents the Furman Paladins who only scored 69 points which eventually led to them losing the match.
