Mississippi racked up 73 points in a blowout win over Fresno State as the Rebels improved to 2-0. The 17th-ranked Rebels showcased a potent passing game. Starting quarterback Chad Kelly completed 20 of 25 passes for 346 yards and four touchdowns. Receiver Quincy Adeboyejo was his favorite target, finishing with 120 yards and three touchdowns on five receptions. The Rebels held a 607-313 edge in total yards. Ten different players carried the ball for Mississippi, winding up with a total of 215 yards and four touchdowns on 35 carries. For Fresno State, Marteze Waller rushed for a game-high 91 yards on 28 carries and Chason Virgil threw two touchdown passes.

The Raiders were really on the raid when they took the bull dogs last night. This was a miss match of big men on the court in Texas. For Fresno Harris had 17 and Williams for TTU was able to throw up 7 . Eddo had 6 rebounds for Fresno and Gotcher had five. Bull dogs were down by three at half but in the second things slipped away thanks to big time jump shots. There was also a pretty cool tip in late in the game by Julen Lewis. TTU held their enemy to 9 of 25 and that was the difference

Fresno State Bulldogs vs. Nebraska Cornhuskers Recap

The Fresno State Bulldogs hosted the Nebraska Cornhuskers at Bulldog Stadium on September 13th. It was the second game of the season for both teams, with the Bulldogs still looking for their first win of the season in front of a crowd of 41,031 people. Huskers QB Tommy Armstrong Jr had a different idea, and threw a touchdown pass to Jordan Westerkamp in the first quarter, one to Cethan Carter in the third quarter and one to Sam Cotton in the fourth quarter. Ameer Abdullah scampered for a 57 yard touchdown run in the first quarter for the Huskers, who led 27-2 late in the first half.
