Florida State Seminoles vs. Louisville Cardinals Recap

Florida State's Everett Golson had a big game, throwing for 372 yards and three touchdowns to help the Seminoles beat Louisville and remain undefeated. Golson completed 26-of-38 passes without a turnover, and now has 11 touchdowns and no interceptions for the season. He got plenty of help on the ground from Dalvin Cook, who rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries. FSU receiver Kermit Whitfield caught nine passes for 172 yards and one touchdown. For Louisville, Lamar Jackson passed for 307 yards, and James Quick had five receptions for 130 yards and three touchdowns. The Cardinal fell to 2-4 while the 11th-ranked Seminoles improved to 6-0, with a matchup against undefeated Clemson looming on Nov. 7.

The Miami Hurricanes and Florida State Seminoles continued one of college footballs best rivalries on Saturday and played another great game. Miami QB Brad Kaaya completed 29 of his 49 passes on the day to throw for 405 yards. Three of his passes went for touchdowns while he threw no interceptions. It is a good thing that he had a big day on the ground because the Seminoles completely shut down Miamis ground game holding Joseph Yearby to 33 yards on 15 carries. On the other side it was the ground game where the Seminoles did most of their damage as Dalvin Cook ran for 222 yards on 22 carries for 2 scores.

Boston College Eagles Vs. Florida State Seminoles Recap

On a night when Florida State's offense produced only one touchdown, the Seminoles' defense led the way in a victory over Boston College. Florida State's defense gave up only 195 yards and forced two turnovers including the game's biggest play, Jalen Ramsey's 36-yard fumble return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. The Seminoles produced just 217 yards of offense on their own, and each team was forced to punt seven times in the game. Florida State's Everett Golson completed 15-of-24 passes for 119 yards and a touchdown on a first-quarter pass to Travis Rudolph. Boston College completed only five passes for the night and gained just 56 yards in the air.
