NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament: Rounds 2 & 3 - Session 3: West Virginia vs. Maryland & Oklahoma vs. Dayton Recap

The game between West Virginia vs. Maryland started with a lot of action and straight shooting from both teams they showed good first half with a lot of point,35:34 West Virginia won it by one point difference.Second half West Virginia showed total domination on the basketball court with the result 34:25,and won the game with 10 points difference 69:59.And the game between Oklahoma vs. Dayton started very intense and both teams faced a lot of pressure,first half ended 34:32 for Oklahoma.Second half was also very intense with a lot of action and points but also ended with a win from Oklahoma 38:34.They won the game 72:66.Dayton better luck next time.

NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament: Rounds 2 & 3 - Session 2: Oklahoma vs. Albany & Providence vs. Dayton Recap

The Oklahoma Sooners and Albany Great Danes met in the second round of the NCAA tournament. The Sooners got 18 points from TaShawn Thomas who was 7-11 from the floor and 4-5 from the free throw line. Buddy Hield had 15 but was only 6-16 from the floor. Peter Hooley led the Great Danes with 15. The Dayton Flyers met the Providence Friars in a game that had to drive the announcers crazy. Dyshawn Pierre had 20 points to lead the way for the Flyers to go along with 9 rebounds. LeDontae Henton had a big game for the Friars with 18.

NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament: Rounds 2 & 3 - All Sessions: Maryland vs. Valparaiso & West Virginia vs. Buffalo AND Oklahoma vs. Albany & Providence vs. Dayton Recap

Maryland would go on to take Valparaiso in the 2nd round of the NCAA tourney. The game on paper looked like Maryland should cruise past Crusaders of Valparaiso. Alec Peters of the Crusaders scored 18 points and did all he could in order to assist his team. Melo Trimble would be the high scorer for the Terrapins and also pulled in 10 boards. The Terrapins took an early lead, but the Crusaders battled with them, draining 3 pointers all game. Maryland took a 4 point lead into halftime. The Crusaders came out quickly and tied it up. With less then 2 minutes the game was 62-61 Maryland. Maryland was up 3 with 30 seconds left and Valparaiso wound the clock down and turned the ball over with 1 second left, and Maryland would go onto win the game.
