Columbus Blue Jackets Schedule in 2014 - 2015
The Blue Jackets take to the ice vs. the Sabers to star the season on October 9th. The home opener is on the books start at 7 Pm on the 11th vs. the New York Rangers. Some big home games with great promotions they say will be coming up in November 8th vs. Tampa Bay then on November 15 vs. San Jose. They will skate the Pittsburgh on December 13th that is a must see for Blue Jacket and Penguin fans. Itâ€™s long way away but April 10th could be important game when they play the e Buffalo Sabres at home. The next day less then 24 hours after the last home game they will go up to New York to face Islanders which could be one of the final matches at the old Long Island facility. The puck is set to drop in that game at 7:00 PM on Saturday night.

Meanwhile Sergei Bobrovsky will be back but with is contract coming up he may onlyu have one more year of skating left with this team. There is also bad news to report on the health front Nathan Horto is acting up again that could really effect play this season Look for Hartnell and Johansen to come work with each other to carry the team this season. Playing back up this season as of right now on the third line will be Dubi and Jack but that could change. The focus for this squad will be to score fast and keep steady they are an ok team in terms of overall rank.

The Blue Jackets home has been the only place for the team it opened in year 2000. The Nationwide Arena is capable of holding roughly 18,000 people. The intermissions are very dark when the dim the lights during intermission. The building is made for hockey and all the seets are low to the action there really isnâ€™t truly the nose bleeds as you might see in older buildings. So it can get loud when it is packed house. The pre game and post festivities take place at place connected to the arena A&R Music Bar/The Basement it has average variety but good bar food and drink.

Most of the people there are die hard fans or love the sport. Most is either business or youth teams who got some type of special deal to skate on the ice or be in a club box.
