NFL Preseason: Cincinnati Bengals vs. Chicago Bears Recap

The Cincinnati Bengal running game was in full-effect with 145 yards and two touchdowns as the Bengals earned a pre-season victory over the Chicago Bears in Cincinnati. The Bengals were led by Jeremy Hill, who rushed for 46 yards and added a touchdown in the game. Quarterbacks Andy Dalton (6-for-6, 52 yards, rushing TD) and backup Andy McCarron (12-for-17, 149 yards, passing TD) were also impressive in the win. The Bengals put the game away early with a 21-3 lead by halftime. The Bears' Jay Cutler was consistent with 98 yards passing, but was also sacked twice in the loss. The Bears are still hurting from the loss of Kevin White this pre-season and other injuries.

The Bears' Jay Cutler was sharp in Chicago's second preseason game, and the Bears used a strong running game to win their second preseason game Saturday in Indianapolis. Cutler finished 8-for-9 for 69 yards and led the Bears on three scoring drives, but all of them ended in field goals. Backup Jimmy Clausen finally found the end-zone on a 12-yard pass to Joshua Bellamy in the third quarter, and Jeremy Langford scored minutes later for Chicago. Langford finished with 80 yards rushing on nine carries, leading a Bears rushing attack that gained 165 yards. The Colts found the end zone only once, on Andrew Luck's five-yard run in the second quarter.

NFL Preseason: Chicago Bears Vs. Miami Dolphins Recap

The Dolphins were better than the Bears with both teams' starters in, but the Bears backups racked up 24 straight points in the second half to give Chicago a win in the teams' exhibition opener. Miami's Ryan Tannehill led the Dolphins to a touchdown on the team's opening drive and finished 6-for-7 for 56 yards. But the Dolphins never found the end zone again. The Bears' Senorise Perry rushed ten times for 89 yards and one touchdown, and Ka'Deem Carey had 34 yards and a touchdown on seven rushes. Robbie Gould kicked four field goals for Chicago. Jay Cutler played sparingly and finished 4-for-7 for 42 yards.
