Notre Dame Fighting Irish vs. Binghamton Bearcats Recap
November 14, 2014
If one were to sum up this game in one word, it would have to be "painful". The Binghamton Bearcats welcomed the Notre Dame Fighting Irish to their home court... and let them walk all over them. It's a hard time for a team when the game's leading scorer, Nick Madray, only hit for 9 points. He also gave up 19 turnovers which let the Fighting Irish take off and never look back. Notre Dame looked great the entire time, including a 10 minute section of the game where they outscored the Bearcats by 24-2. Notre Dame's Zach Auguste was their team leading scorer with 19 points and with Pat Connaughton scoring his 17 points and 10 rebounds to help out, the Bearcats never had a chance. Another notable for this game would have to be Pat Connaughton scoring his 1,000th career point for the Fighting Irish. This was a great game if you're an Irish fan. The Bearcats will try and forget about this one and hopefully get things on a different track this season.
