Miami Hurricanes vs. Bethune-cookman Wildcats Recap

Miami's defense was virtually unstoppable, helping the Hurricanes to get a blowout win over Bethune-Cookman in the teams' lightning-shortened opening game Saturday. The Hurricanes not only shut out their guests, but they held them to just 79 yards of total offense. For Miami's offense, Mark Walton rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on ten carries while Trayone Gray had 77 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. Rashawn Scott caught six passes for 100 yards and a touchdown. Lightning delayed the game by nearly an hour and shortened the second half to 20 minutes. Miami got an emotional lift when offensive lineman Hunter Knighton took the field for the first time since he was in a coma for 12 days in February.
Florida Gators vs. Bethune-Cookman Wildcats Recap

The 6th ranked Florida Gators narrowly defeated the Bethune Cookman Wildcats on Tuesday, 2-1, to bring their record to a strong 32-10 on the season. Josh Tobias singled in the 8th inning to drive home the Gatorsâ€™ eventual winning run, in a clutch at bat. Scoring started out in the sixth inning when Buddy Reedâ€™s pop fly landed amongst the Wildcatâ€™s infielders due to some miscommunication, and Josh Calamita was able to come around to score. The Wildcats evened the score in the top of the eighth inning when Bryant Munoz came through with a timely single to drive a run home, but the Gators came roaring back in the bottom of the 8th to put the game away.
Arizona State Sun Devils vs. Bethune Cookman Wildcats Recap

On Monday November 17th the Arizona State Sun Devils and the Bethune Cookman Wildcats played an ugly extremely low scoring game in Tempe. As a team the Wildcats shot only 32% from the floor and 58% from the free throw line as no Wildcat even scored in double figures. Quentin Brewer had their best game with 9 points and 9 rebounds. On the other side only 2 Sun Devils managed double figures as Eric Jacobsen scored 13 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, most of his damage came at the free throw line where he was 7-9, he was 3-4 from the floor.
