AFC Championship Game: New England Patriots vs. Indianapolis Colts Recap

On Sunday, January 19th, the Indianapolis Colts took on the New England Patriots in the 2015 AFC Championship game in Foxboro Massachusetts. The New England Patriots, led by quarterback Tom Brady, and coach Bill Belichek returned to familiar territory, and were looking for their 6th Super Bowl Appearance. The Indianapolis Colts are led by quarterback Andrew Luck and coach Chuck Pagano. The game was fairly tight for the first half, with New England leading by a score of 17-7. The highlight was Brady throwing a touchdown to offensive tackle Nate Solder. The second half would be a different story, as the margin of victory changed drastically.

AFC Championship Game: Indianapolis Colts vs. TBD (If Necessary) Recap

The Indianapolis Colts went into Gillette Stadium and were routed by the New England Patriots sunday night in the AFC Championship game. LeGarrette Blount opened up the scoring in the first quarter with a 1 yard touchdown run to give New England a 7-0 lead. Zurlon Tipton got the Colts on the board with a 1 yard touchdown run to cut the Patriots lead to 14-7 in the second quarter. It would be the only points the Colts would score all game. LeGarrette Blount's third touchdown run of the game in the fourth quarter put the finishing touches on a dominant Patriots victory. Blount finished the game with 148 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns. Andrew Luck struggled all game and finished with just 126 yards passing and 2 interceptions for the Colts.

AFC Championship Game: Baltimore Ravens vs. TBD (If Necessary) Recap

On January 18, 2015 the Colts and the Patriots faced off in cold Foxborough, Massachusetts to see show would have a date against the Seahawks in super bowl 49. This game was over before the first quarter even finished, the Patriots were all over the Colts since the opening few minutes. Tom Brady threw multiple TD passes and the Pat's defense held the Colt's to only 7 points through 3 quarters. Legarrette Blount of the Pats was running like a man possessed with over 100 rushing yards. The colt's defense was pitiful, and it was really exploited by Brady and his explosive offensive unit.
